Award of Light

This Tuesday Morning here in the desert it is rather gloomy, the sky is heavy with clouds, the air is damp and a light misty rain is beginning to fall and the coolness chills my bones a bit ...now normally in our dry hot desert...this would be reason to rejoice ...but it only added to the Mood I woke up with... kind of sad, lots of memories flooding my caffeine free brain ... today is my Dad's Birthday...and I no longer have him to share this day with. I have been talking to him all morning...saying things like 'Give me a Sign' Papa Joe if you are near ... would love to know you are watching.

And then I got on my blog for some cheering..and there was a Message from SANS

that she had given me an 'Award of Light' ... with Beautiful Words and Passion ...here was 'My Sign' ...thank you Sans for cheering my heart, giving the sign and lighting the way ...

I need to now pass this onto 5 others ...whose Blogs inspire and Illuminate...

Marie at 'Art from the Heart ' .... Whose Beautiful Art is matched only by her Beautiful Heart.

Cindy at 'Oops the Desperate Blogger' ... Whose Gentle Caring Soul has the Strength of Giants

Rosanna at ' la stanza di giuggiola ' ... Who offers us all a Beautiful Window to the World and to her heart.

Lyndy at "Todaysgold" .... Who gives of her experiences and cares so deeply for all creatures great and small.

Lille at "This Time Tomorrow" ... Who takes each day one step at a time, grows leaps and bounds with each step.... and shares her journey with others

Oh my goodness.... This made me cry. Sweet tears, Jodi. I know this is a special award. I will accept it with a grateful heart & will pass it on when I can. I'll find a special way to do it that will keep the "specialness" alive, glowing and lighting up the world.

Thank you, my dear friend. Happy Birthday, to your Dad! I know he is watching you from somewhere and with pride at how wonderful you've grown up to become. ((((JODI))))))

Thank you so much Jodi. I'm near to you in this day, I know what it means. I thank every day for blogging: I do love all the people I met. There are elective affinities that are difficult to find in daily life and I'm so glad I met so many kind hearted, gifted and generous people. I'll gladly share this award

What a beautiful morning for you, Jodi! When they leave us, the hole in our hearts never mends. I see my mom around me every day even though she's now gone, and sometimes the pain is so sharp. God Bless and do a blog about him someday so we'll also know him!
