So Many Things Going On Yet So Little To Say....

MIA yet again....!!!! I swear to you I have not been abducted...(at least I don't think I have been) ... it's just another one of those so much going on and yet so little to really say about it... kinda moments!

I...believe it or not... will not talk or write for the longest time... and it's not for lack of having anything to say or for that matter and lack of desire to say it....I just go 'mute'...in voice and print! I have a friend who calls 'the mutes' ...'The Sizing Ups'...a down time where one sizes up the situation of life and does more thinking than speaking! That pretty much nails it on the head for me lately....

Tons of stuff has been going on in my life...with work, the house, friends, family and 'inner' stuff with myself...(inner meaning soul and psyche)... and I just have been digesting it all internally. These times always effect my art... most times in a positive way but as they are 'inner' times...pulling it to the outer to actually create... many times is like pulling ectoplasm through a small keyhole . I have been on a 'Soul Searching Seek About' .... lining up the ducks of my life and trying like hell to get them in a tidy little row... but there is always 'one' that puts a beak outta line. With all this jibber jabber it sounds like possibly I was abducted ...but trust me...I was not...unless being abducted by ones own Brain counts??? With all the probing, poking and prodding lately .. my poor brain feels so used and fears that bright light from the sky again...DON'T Beam Me Up Scotty...I beg of you!!!

I have been this way since early childhood... over thinking situations, under thinking solutions... so I am used to myself by now...trouble is... others are not... so I tend to hide out in my stylishly designed 'Brain Closet' ...in a mental fetal position and work out 'issues' that I so easily create for myself or that are 'offered up' to me on a lovely silver platter...with parsley decorations!

So just in case you have not already run screaming from this Blog in fear of the Crazy Lady who has appeared before you...know that I now have ducks regimented, ecto is resting comfortably on 'this side' , Brain Door is propped open ...and the Parsley was delicious!

I am back....

Jodi

Popping in to say a belated hello & I totally understand! Trust mE! '-)

Blogging as you have found, can become very time consuming...that is why I use my "Funny 4 the Day" as filler posts when I'm "mute" too.

Have a great week!

For not having much to say, that was a clever bit of writing!

LOL Jodi there must be something in the air . I'm juggling what seems like a thousand projects and ideas right now and my brain is at the point where it might just explode , thinking this way and that way and every which way !!
I'm so glad you got your ducks in order , if you can send one over to put mine in line it would be much appreciated !
your post made me smile this morning, I'm not alone !!

I always look forward to your blogs. So often you say what I mean. But what you were talking about is just another way of "peeling off" or following the butterfly just out of reach. Sometimes I follow a swarm and it takes a while to come back. Welcome back.

Hi LD...

All fine here...just a little nuts at times...but then, I am one of those people that think being just a 'Little Nuts' is a very healthy thing...I mean, what the heck...we are artists ...right!! lol

Jodi

I'm just glad I'm not the only Jody (mine is with a 'y') who goes AWOL occasionally dealing with life in general. I have a new explanation for my sporadic postings lately--we are in the midst of the squash and cucumber height of growth and production here and are in the garden picking at least every other day! Oh to have clones of ourselves. This farming stuff is not for sissies--or out of shape 46-year-old mothers. Glad you are well.

Hi Jody (GREAT name by the way...hee hee)

Believe me...cucumber and squash should take precedent over blogging and other matters...there is nothing more satisfying than to work in a garden...as you know! If I were there I would be rolling up my sleeves and helping out...

Jodi
