Award and Confession Time...GULP!

I was given another Award by Dear Jayne...of Tallulah Belle Originals...
Not sure of the purpose of this award other than it is 'pretty' ...I like the colors, like the Vintage Look...and I think this is an award that was originally designed by the sender to have the 'receiver' Spill their Guts with deep dark secrets for all to read....GULP!!!!
Could be fun...could be scary ...we shall see....
Now the rules of this one are that I have to list 10 things about myself that you don't know. Hmmm...lets see :-)...
1.) Growing up in So. California I lived across the street from a Circus Family from Germany... who rode unicycles everywhere, juggled non stop and when they would dive into their pool...they would stand 4 high on each others shoulders (diving board...we don't need no stinking diving board!!) ...this is where my deep dark desire to juggle came from.
2.) My family was given some of the first 'Pop Tarts' to try before they hit the market
3.) I saw a UFO in the sky over the Nevada Desert
4.) I grew up in two separate Haunted Houses, one in Calif. one in Nevada...OOoOoO the stories I could tell. Oh...and one briefly in Oregon...Cold Spots and all.
5.) I have been married twice...first time when I just turned 18.....
6.) At 15 I slept out on the street with friends waiting for the Rose Parade the next morning....had GREAT spots because of it....what a blast. My Mom never knew.....
7.) At 11 years old I caught my first Blue Marlin in Mexico...195 lbs.
8.) I didn't learn to drive until I was 18...and not a stick shift until I was 24... that is all I drive now.
9.) It has always been my desire to be a professional Singer.... would practice for hours in front of the mirror...last time I did that....last week!!!
10.) I once quit a job because they would not let me have Halloween off to man my Haunted House that I put together each year... I arranged for this day 6 months in advance... I faced the boss and said VERY loudly...I QUIT!!!...always wanted to do that...just like in the movies!
OK...now I get to pick 3 'suckers'...er...ahhhhh...Bloggers! to spill it!!!
Let's see....hmmmmm...how about....

OK...let it be known up front...if you don't want to play along...that is totally COOL.... but if you do.... thanks so much... might be fun!!!

Thanks again Jayne....I have added your award to my mantel ...
Hugs for a Great Weekend All

Jodi, I love your confessions. What a very colorful past you have compared to mine--much more run-of-the-mill sadly. On juggling, I had to tell you that at the elementary school where I attended in the late 60's, they later (of course) had a P.E. teacher who was very creative and every year, he taught them various circus acts and they had a circus for the student body at the end of the year. Every child who came through learned to juggle! Isn't that amazing?! Of course, I was there during the dark reign of Mr. Sane who was slightly insane and he believed that rigorous exercises were the way to go. We stood for hours in the heat with our arms extended making tiny little circles with our hands until we were near tears.

Happy Sunday Jody...

OoOOoOo I love your story of your school and that extremely COOL teacher...where were those teachers when I was in school!!? You and I sound as if we had the same teacher for P.E. ...or at the very least the both graduated from the same school of 'Rigorous Training'...UGH!

Thanks for Sharing..

Hugs,
Jodi

Hey there Jayne...

Yep... Juggling...a small passion or 'obsession' of mine...I will not rest until I master this task... alas, it eludes me still!
DRAT!

Hugs,
Jodi
