Dumbledore Finished...at last!

We are at last finished with our Dumbledore Commission...whew! Several little intermissions later...we have at last (or I should say Richard) photographed Dumbledore and will now get him ready to be carefully boxed and ready to send to his new home.
We are very pleased with how he turned out...and as with anything...photos never look as good as in person...I just wish you could see the tiny tiny details that just tend to show up as 'mini blurs' in the photograph. I am not even sure the 3 photos above will go bigger when clicked... so I have uploaded about 12 different photographs on our PBASE Gallery just in case... 1:12th scale miniatures are indeed hard to photograph. He is just at 6 inches.
Thanks everyone for hanging in there through this process of creating this piece... it was indeed a true labor of love...
Now onto the next...
Have a Good Evening

Oh Becky...you made our night...thank you so much. The nervous part of doll making for us has always been when finished to 'show it' ...gulp!!! Neither of us do well with that part...lol.

WOOOHHHH Can you hear me from far far away? he is GREAT. Even hubby as given him a serious look instead of passing by uttering odd sounds as he usually does. He is wonderful and the lantern is so like the real one: it's hard to believe that they are both minis. I wish I could have one of your works. Let me pay all the mortgage on my house and then....

Don't be a bit nervous. The new owner will be as speechless as the rest of us. OMG. There isn't one little part I'm not totally in love with. As always, you guys blow me away. Thanks for letting us peer over your shoulders while you created this masterpiece.

Fantastic as always and love him and all his bits to death. I can now see why you were both mad about getting the right glass ball and the blue sets it all off to perfection. The details are just amazing.
Oh the clothes are just fab too.
I won't go on else both of your heads will burst.. lol.
Thank you also for the little hints and tips you have given me so far.
My sculpting book arrived today and hopefully next week when the kids are at school and all is quiet i'll have a go.
I think for my first proper sculpt it will be best to follow it all step by step so i can learn. But i will be careful and not do this with the second one so i can then develop my own style.
Anyway, rambling and should be working on the brick work for my little house.
