Newest Commission...Professor Remus Lupin

Happy Thursday Everyone. We at last finished our latest commission...Professor Remus Lupin from Harry Potter. He is another 1:12th scale miniature doll. Stand at just slightly under 6 inches as our collector needed him just a tad smaller so that she could place him in a series of 'Floo Network' Fireplaces that she had built...how cool is that!!
He is sculpted in polymer clay, has a complete wire armature, hand made leather briefcase and he holds Books for his next classes at Hogwarts where he will be teaching an extensive lesson on Grindylows.
Next up.... Belatrix LaStrange.
Have a Great Thursday
Jodi

Hi Julie....

Ahhhh the joys of working with leather... there is nothing like it. The quest becomes to find the thinnest of all leathers... and then of course...there are the leather dyes....Zowie!!

Thanks so much

Hello Rosanna...

Thank you so much for thinking it looks like him... as for the howling, I am pretty sure I heard a few yelps at our almost full moon these last few nights...

What more can i say other than fantastic yet again! He's just brilliant.
I'm also in awe of your photoshop skills and the arched background. It looks like a town i've been to called Stamford. Wish i could do this.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

Hi Nikki...

Thank you so much. I adore photoshop...but now have my eye on a bigger photoshop program...when I have an extra $1,000 to dish out...YEAH RIGHT!!! The background for Lupin is somewhere in England ...so you may have visited that spot... it just looked so perfect to place Lupin in..

Hi Joanna...

Well most do.... we have one BIG collector who owns the majority of them but we do get commissions for other characters. I think basically our HP Characters are in 3 different collections.

Perhaps it is then. I swear i've been through that arch alley.
If so then stamford was a place for travellers to stop on their way to London or on the way up north hundreds of years ago. Its a beautiful place and the architecture is out of this world. Well i think so anyway... lol.
You can see where all the stage coaches would have been parked for the night through all the lovely gates and arches. Plus there are some really quaint pubs and lovely litle shops. Been in all of those pubs with all the boys in my youth... lol.
