Little Miss Lotta Goodies...finished and Listed

Happy Friday Evening one and all... I am happy to announce that at last we have finished little Lotta and she is at last listed on EBAY ... Some more detailed pictures and her poem are there in case interested. She was a blast to create...we always enjoy the Imaginary Friends of Dahlia.

Now onto one more H.P. Mini and then a Mad Hatter.....

They are ALL Mad...and I LOVE IT!!!!

I am sure the majority of everyone out there in Bloglandia has already heard the News...That Tim Burton is making his version of Alice in Wonderland!!! But I ...who leads a very mentally sheltered life am just hearing of this FANTASTIC NEWS!!!! I could not be more pleased...first because I adore the Story of Alice and her Wonderland Pals and second...well, do I even need to say it...TIM BURTON!!! His mind is the stuff that dreams are made of...visions and images of creative delights.

Above are a few of the Characters thus far...SPLENDIDLY DELICIOUS!!! Richard does not join me in my thirst for Burton'esk characters, I thrive on complicated simplicity, and off beat characters. WOW, can't wait for the MacFarland Figures...

OK...my creative juices are flowing and the desire to now create something mad and insane is growing stronger....

I am off and running and in search now of that elusive Rabbit Hole ...

Little Miss Lotta Goodies...the Giving Gracious Girl.

Howdy Doo.... As you might have read in my last Blog Post...'Lots' going on around the Creager Home front lately... and one of the 'lots' is this little doll we have been working on ...'Little Miss Lotta Goodies' ... she has a kinda neat little story that I am working on at the moment ...and we have a few more little things to finish up ...for hopefully an EBAY listing this week....

Little Lotta is another of Dahlia Darkling's 'Imaginary Friends' ...I love her little high top tennis shoes....

So Many Things Going On Yet So Little To Say....

MIA yet again....!!!! I swear to you I have not been abducted...(at least I don't think I have been) ... it's just another one of those so much going on and yet so little to really say about it... kinda moments!

I...believe it or not... will not talk or write for the longest time... and it's not for lack of having anything to say or for that matter and lack of desire to say it....I just go 'mute'...in voice and print! I have a friend who calls 'the mutes' ...'The Sizing Ups'...a down time where one sizes up the situation of life and does more thinking than speaking! That pretty much nails it on the head for me lately....

Tons of stuff has been going on in my life...with work, the house, friends, family and 'inner' stuff with myself...(inner meaning soul and psyche)... and I just have been digesting it all internally. These times always effect my art... most times in a positive way but as they are 'inner' times...pulling it to the outer to actually create... many times is like pulling ectoplasm through a small keyhole . I have been on a 'Soul Searching Seek About' .... lining up the ducks of my life and trying like hell to get them in a tidy little row... but there is always 'one' that puts a beak outta line. With all this jibber jabber it sounds like possibly I was abducted ...but trust me...I was not...unless being abducted by ones own Brain counts??? With all the probing, poking and prodding lately .. my poor brain feels so used and fears that bright light from the sky again...DON'T Beam Me Up Scotty...I beg of you!!!

I have been this way since early childhood... over thinking situations, under thinking solutions... so I am used to myself by now...trouble is... others are not... so I tend to hide out in my stylishly designed 'Brain Closet' ...in a mental fetal position and work out 'issues' that I so easily create for myself or that are 'offered up' to me on a lovely silver platter...with parsley decorations!

So just in case you have not already run screaming from this Blog in fear of the Crazy Lady who has appeared before you...know that I now have ducks regimented, ecto is resting comfortably on 'this side' , Brain Door is propped open ...and the Parsley was delicious!
