What was I thinking??? The Fast Paced social world of FACEBOOK...Lured me to the dark side... forcing me to expose myself to tawdry Networking and Social Attachments. My head was dizzy with the promise of Friends from long ago and the hope of New ones yet to meet. I could turn my head to hide...but alas, there waiting were more and more comments begging my attention ..luring me yet further into Facebook of Lives!!... How can a girl so easily fall pray to this madness, this lust for 'hooking up' ... to expose ones self on a Wall, to allow Poking and Wearing Badges and a woman peeling her face on the right side of the screen... I feel faint , the room is spinning out of control ...the madness...the madness I tell you.....
Isn't it amazing how one photo can prompt all of this silliness!!!!
All I can say is FACEBOOK is a trip and a half! Not sure yet how I feel about it...the jury as they say is still out. But I feel as though I have strayed from my Beloved Blog!!
This is where I can really get crazy and feel free to post anything I want...I love it here.
OK...I am back to work on Dumbledore... the weekend interrupted progress...but alas, we are onto another fresh week filled with promise of completion.

:o))) LOL Jodi!!! you've got me laughing so hard...I find it best to ration my time on the evil-darkside that is facebook, if you're not careful it will grapple onto any exposed weaknesses with its mind-controlling tentacles and drag you into the whirling vortex of lost hours!

I do not love Facebook, it makes me feel naked and exposed. Hubby goes there along with most of my friends but I much prefer my large blog world where I feel at ease and I can welcome whoever I wish.
And loose some time anyway eh eh eh

Oh please lead us not into the temptation of Facebook. The internet is such a dark underworld to explore it is very tempting but in reality it is a black hole sucking us all to some unkown fate at its center.
How many teenagers and ancient geeks have closed the bedroom door never to be seen again? It it new "Narnia Wardrobe"? I fear not.

Been there DID that! I had an account for a year and cancelled it & my MySpace account the beginning of the year.
I got SO frustrated with NOTHING working and being a "true" time waster.
Good luck if you decide to stay on.
As for me, I'm more of a Blogging sort of guy!

I think facebook is interesting and a nice way for people to connect. BUT, I just don't get why some people are on it several times a day. It can be a little boring.(said with care not to offend)

I agree...there really is not a whole lot happening on FACEBOOK...other than little messages back and forth...rather like texting only without the 'abbreviations'... I don't do that either. Blogging seems more like writing little novellas...I like that.

Hey Jodi, what's your FaceBook ID so we can become FaceBook friends? I've only been on a few weeks & I'm not a big fan yet.
I'm not into reading about what someone had for breakfast or what time they went to bed. So it seems pretty much like a great place for the kids to pass cyber notes... :)
